Tennis Training Nets

In addition to standard game nets, you may also want to look into rebound nets.  The net usually is made of nylon, and the net it held up right by a steel frame. All each trainee has to do is hit the ball right into the net, and the ball will rebound back to them. Most of the time, the net's simple design allows two different trainees to hit tennis balls on either side of the net so it can get more use. This type of training may not be the most effective when training for an actual opponent, but can build upon the physical needs to win.

Backboards provide the same function as the rebound nets, but the backboards in a more realistic way than the rebound net. The backboards are way more expensive, but can be an essential tool for a serious person training for tennis. The back board sets against a flat wall, and someone hits the tennis ball into the board, causing the ball to come back towards the hitter. Some boards have different angles carved into the board so the board can come back in a, some-what, unpredictable fashion. These are more effective than the nets, but still don't offer any life-like quality in practicing alone.
